"If the
Bigslider had been around 5,000 years ago, the wheel
might have never been invented."

Tilt, Load, Slide!
One
great feature of BIGSLIDER is that you only need tilt your
load 1/16th of an inch to get it started. And, BIGSLIDER is
slick on both sides for easy loading and unloading. Simply
slide, wheel, roll, walk, or scoot the load on to BIGSLIDER.
The more you get on, the easier it is! And, when you reach
your destination, BIGSLIDER easily pulls out.

Does it
really work on concrete?
Yes!
BIGSLIDER is used on concrete by homeowners on driveways, by
auto mechanics in garages, and by hardware stores - to move
500 lb chain barrels. It also works on grass, mud, snow,
bricks, pea gravel, stones, stairs, carpet, tile and wood.
(NOTE: Clean BIGSLIDER and sweep wood floors to prevent
scratching. Or, pull BIGSLIDER over the Welcome mat/ carpet
to wipe its own feet coming from outside to inside.) |

What's
the rope for?
The rope
keeps the load on BIGSLIDER while pulling over flat,
inclined, or bumpy surfaces. The rope also extends BIGSLIDER
length for ergonomic pulling (see here). Tie a knot or
Handle Extension at hand height to pull from a standing
position.
Thread the rope through the tail, and BIGSLIDER curves
around irregular loads to secure them while sliding. Or,
throw the rope around the lower perimeter of boxes,
bookcase, or chest. Then thread through the hand hole to
keep the load and BIGSLIDER pulling the same direction at
the same time. BIGSLIDER turning radius is the same as the
loads footprint. |
|
Tail
Curl
Thread
rope through corner holes, then bring ends through hand
hole. Wrap rope around handle, then tie a half knot or
Extension Handle at palm height. |
|
Choke
Hold
Thread rope through one
corner hole from underneath BIGSLIDER™, throw rope over
load, thread back down through other corner hole. Bring both
rope ends through hand hole, wrap around handle, tie knot or
Extension Handle at palm height. The more you pull, the
tighter the rope holds the load.

Lift vs. Slide
Leverage
BIGSLIDER™
is a highly leveraged tool that helps you to get work done
by yourself. What’s hard to carry is easy to slide. For
example, if the carpet in your office is like that in an
airport or mall – i,e., no pile and little padding – you
will experience about the same leverage as pulling on a
concrete driveway (250 lb load converts to about a 75 lb
pull = 3x advantage). “Stickiest” to “Slickest” surfaces
are: grass (2x), carpet, concrete (3x), pea gravel, wood,
and tile (5x). In other words, a 50 lb mulch bag is about a
22 lb pull on grass, and a 150 lb armoire is about a 30 lb
pull on tile. |

Lawn and Leaf Bags

Form BIGSLIDER™ Utility
Mover into a cylinder; hold in place through the bag then
pull bag over cylinder. Lay on side; rake directly in. Or,
place upright to use like a big trash can. BIGSLIDER™
reinforces to prevent sticks from tearing the bag, and you
can pack the bag extra tight, filling it extra full. Don’t
let your hard work dribble down the driveway! Use BIGSLIDER™
to take your bags to trash or curb so bag doesn’t break or
rip. Click here to see how easily you can move six 39 gal
bags in one trip.

Ergonomic
Benefits
Tilting
and sliding uses more major muscle groups in the legs, arms
and torso when compared to dead lift and carry. After
loading at the tail, walk toward the load and pull the
handle from palm height. If the handle doesn’t comfortably
reach the hand while you’re standing up straight, use the
rope as needed to extend the pull height up to the palm of
your hand. Tie a knot or the Extension Handle if desired.
The full 5 ft length of BIGSLIDER™ is available for loads
when using the rope. For super heavy loads, knot the rope,
step into the loop, place the rope around your hips, and
pull ONLY using the legs. Thread the Extension Handle
through the rope if you prefer to pull from the handle
rather than the rope. |
|
Skidding Along
Sometimes you need to move furniture a short distance to
rearrange the room or clean behind it; or perhaps the load
is too heavy for you to pull...or maybe you don’t want to
rearrange the surface you’re pulling over (such as on
decorative rocks). Put BIGSLIDER™ on the ground to use in
skid mode by pushing, wheeling or walking your item across
the full 5 ft length. |
|
Leaf Scoop or Rake
Directly In
Quickly
handle a large volume of leaves. And, run the scoop along
the curb to push leaves straight into the leaf bag - easy!
|
|
Weeding Sit-Upon
Need
a clean, dry place to sit while weeding? Sit at handle end,
put weeds at tail end. Move BIGSLIDER™ along the bed as you
progress. When weed pile gets high, form a “U” to dump into
the trash. Touch weeds only once!
|
|
|
EASY TO STORE
Store flat. Hang from nail by center hole at tail; stow
behind desk, shelf or cabinet, under bed or couch.
Avoid storing in direct sunlight.
EASY TO CLEAN
Sweep or brush off. Rinse with water and mild soap as needed
(remember excess dirt may scratch indoor floors if your load
is heavy).
EASY TO CARRY
Place handle in palm between thumb and forefinger, form a
teardrop shape by putting middle and ring fingers through
center hole on tail. |
