Houston, TX -- Galloway Interests, LLC is
pleased to announce its BigSlider™ utility mover has been
chosen by Popular Mechanics magazine as one of the
Top 13 New Tools for 2008.
BigSlider proudly received the Editor’s
Choice Award from Popular Mechanics in recognition of
outstanding achievement in new product design and innovation
at this year’s National Hardware Show. “If the Bigslider had
been around 5,000 years ago, the wheel might have never been
invented,” quipped Jim Meigs, Editor-in-Chief as he
introduced BigSlider at the awards ceremony.
BigSlider has also received accolades
from Garden Center Products & Supplies (GCP&S) as one
of their Editor’s Choice items. And Matt Weber,
Editor-in-Chief of Extreme How-To, says it’s “better
than a wheelbarrow.” Most importantly, customers give
BigSlider the “I wish I’d thought of that” award or the
“It’s a lifesaver” award!
What’s all the buzz about? A simple 3 lb
tool empowers one person to move just about anything,
including up to 500 lbs on concrete. It’s 2 ft by 5 ft of
tough plastic with a big comfortable handle on one end and
rope holes at the other. Women working alone use it to
move heavy potted plants or
chests of drawers, and men use it to
move a chain barrel or
car engines and transmissions alone.
Finally, BigSlider is a great garden
cleanup tool. Whether
cleaning up from a hurricane loads too big for the
wheelbarrow or
scooping and bagging fall leaves, BigSlider is
lightweight and versatile. It even makes fall leaf cleanup a
snap. It reinforces and
holds the lawn and leaf bag open, then
gets your bags to the curb without ripping.
Indoors or out, BigSlider moves easily
over concrete, grass, brick, mud, rocky surfaces, and snow
(for firewood), as well as carpet, tile and wood floors. If
you can tilt your load 1/16 of an inch, you can probably
move it – without waiting for help.
Now you know some of the
reasons Popular Mechanics named BigSlider™ utility
mover one of the
Top 13 New Tools for 2008. |
